Unlock The Secrets To Reaching Your Ideal Clients
If I were to ask you, Who is your ideal client and why? Would you be able to confidently answer?
This seems like a simple question, but in reality, most people cannot give a clear answer.
Clearly identifying and then narrowing down your ideal client is essential in gaining new clients. It is also the first step in developing your marketing plan. Once you know exactly who your ideal client is and can describe her down to the type and brand of shoes she wears; the rest of your marketing plan effortlessly unfolds.
Have you ever been watching television and a commercial comes on about a topic that you were just discussing with a friend and you feel the commercial was speaking directly to you? The commercial clearly identified the problems you thought only you were experiencing.

So how did they achieve this?
The key to specifying your ideal clients is to identify all the characteristics that describe them. The simplest way to achieve this is to pick your top 3 clients. These would be clients that you absolutely love working with. Then begin to answer these questions.
How do I figure out who my ideal client is?
1. What are the basic characteristics of your ideal client? (Location, age, gender, salary, education. etc)
2. Who are your clients? Are they business executives, artists, families, small business owners, single parents, etc.
3. What exactly do your ideal clients do? How do they need your help?
4. What is their problem?
5. What solution do they want?
6. What is the change they want to see?
7. What qualities will help them succeed?
8. What are some things they will have to do to succeed?
9. Why should they work with you?
Trust me, sometimes it’s easy to feel like anyone could be your ideal client. But remember,
If you try to market to everybody you end up with nobody.
For instance, if you are an aesthetician you would not say, my ideal client is everybody with skin. That just makes me cringe. You want to be really specific. You might say, my ideal clients are young women who are just entering their 30’s. They have never had a problem with acne and now they experience what is called adult acne. This is typically along their cheeks and chin. It’s so embarrassing going to work as an adult with pimples on your face. My clients start seeing their face clear up within the first two weeks.
